Log Into IDX Broker Dashboard

The first thing you want to do is be logged into your IDX Broker dashboard.  From there you’re going to access the leads.  Go to “Leads” and click create.

Enter the Contact Information

You can add as much information or as little information as you want about the lead that you’re putting in. The only things that are required are the name and the email address.

I’m going to add myself and let’s just say that’s all you know about the lead. If you knew the rest, you could go ahead and put that in.

Account Settings

Then you want to go down here to account settings. You can choose the email format most stay with HTML. You can assign this lead to an agent in the drop-down menu, and you can choose a category that you want to list them under. This would be a direct signup.

On the next level, we have account disabled, yes or no. You want to leave that as “No”.  Of course, you don’t want to disable their account. You want them to be able to access it. You want them to be able to log in and create more saved searches.  Receive property updates, you want to leave to “Yes” so that they can receive those email updates.

Auto-login from emails, most likely you will click “Yes” so that when they get one of those emails, they can immediately come and look at them without having to log into their account and then you’ll click “Save Changes”.

Once you’ve done that, you can look under “Manage Leads” and you’ll be able to find them on your list.  That’s as easy as it is to go in and manually put in a lead.
