Catherine Chadwick, Project Manager for Ballen Brands shows you how to change the email on a WordPress Website for your BREW.
This post contains some affiliate links for your convenience. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.
Log Into WordPress Dashboard
You’re going to want to be logged in to your WordPress dashboard. Once you’re there, the first place you’re going to want to change is under Users. Click All Users.

Change User Admin Email Address
This gives you a list of the admins for your account. Go to your main admin and click edit. Go down to Contact Info, and you’ll see the email address there. You just remove that address, replace it with your email address, and then go down and hit Update Profile.

When you do this, you’re going to notice a link that comes right under the email address area that says you must validate this email for it to become effective. Check the email that you’ve just switched to, and there will be a link. You’ll click that link and that will validate the email and update to the correct email address.
Change General Email Address
The next place you’re going to want to go to is Settings in General. Scroll down to email address and change to the new email address. Scroll down and Save Changes.

Again, it’s going to place a little notification under that area that says, you must validate this email. The new address will not become effective until you confirm it. Go check your email, validate, and then it will update to the correct email address.

Log into WordPress When Validating
It’s very important that you are logged into your WordPress dashboard when you validate the email so that it connects to the correct address. That’s all you have to do to update your email address in those two locations to make sure you’re getting all the proper notifications for forms and sign-ups on your BREW.
