IDX Broker

The first utility, or tool, you’ll need is IDX Broker. BREWs are IDX websites, so IDX Broker is our platform of choice for IDX solutions. IDX Broker has a couple different options for you. Which one you choose is entirely up to you. We have many clients that go with the light version, and we have many that choose platinum. It just depends on what features you want to be able to have on your website. Either one works perfectly fine for the initial setup.

When you use our link to signup for IDX Broker, you do save the $99 setup fee, so be sure to use our link to receive those savings. The link is available right here, and it is also available at Loristools.com. IDX Broker is something you are going to want to sign up for immediately after you purchase your BREW. This process does take about a week to go through and verify your MLS and your agent status. Signing up for this utility right off the bat gives time for set up. That way your BREW doesn’t get postponed as far as setup time is concerned. Your BREW generally takes about three to four weeks for setup in its entirety.

Listings to Leads

The next one you’re going to need is Listings to Leads. Now, if you use our link with Listings to Leads, you get a 30 day free trial versus the 14-day free trial. So, your first month is essentially free. We use Listings to Leads for the instant home value estimator that we put on your BREW. So, when someone visits your website, there is a call to action right up at the top of your website for a home value report. This is really great for seller leads. When they fill out the form, it will give them an instant home value estimate right from the web page, which is phenomenal.

Listings to Leads does have a wide variety of other marketing solutions and other landing pages as well as options for marketing your listings, so it does have a lot of great benefits, but the reason that we use it for your setup is for that instant home value estimator. You will want to sign up as soon as you purchase your BREW because they have to go through a very similar verification process to IDX Broker.

Clicky Analytics

You’re also going to need Clicky Analytics. Clicky does have a free version of their program for which you can sign up. However, it doesn’t give you a lot of the data that we teach on. So, we recommend signing up for the lowest paid plan, which I believe is only about $9 a month. What Clicky allows you to do is track your website traffic, see where your visitors are coming from, see how many visits you’re getting to your website on a regular basis, and know what pages they’re landing on after your website’s been live for a little bit.

You’ll also start seeing common search terms that people are searching for to find your website, which can help you determine how people are finding it. If they’re finding it, and you don’t have a piece of content that fits that search term that is relevant to real estate, then you may want to add some content. There’s a lot of great benefits to Clicky. We do have a link for you to sign up for Clicky right here. It is also on the Ballen Brands landing page and Loristools.com. Same goes for Listings to Leads with that extra 14 days on your free trial. Clicky is a really quick thing for us to set up. So, if you go ahead and register and send us a link within the first two weeks of buying your BREW, then we can go ahead and plug that in for you.
